CONTACT USHybrid: A hybrid vehicle is a car, truck, SUV or minivan with a powertrain that switches between an electric motor powered by a battery and a gas engine. Hybrids tend to have greater fuel efficiency ratings than their gas counterparts.
Plug-In Hybrid:Buy a plug-in hybrid and you have the choice to plug your vehicle in at an EV charging station. Your vehicle can operate off of battery power until the battery has been drained, then it switches over to its gas engine.
Electric Vehicle:An electric vehicle is a vehicle that runs 100% on electric power from the battery and motor. EV technology has been improving every year with enhancements to range, comforts and safety features.
EV Charging Station:An EV charging station is a place you can plug in your electric car or plug-in hybrid to charge. You can install an EV charging station at your home, or stop at any number of EV charging stations across the country.
Fast Charging:Some electric cars allow for fast charging when connected to a proper EV charging station. Fast charging can get your battery ready for the road trip ahead in a fraction of the time of normal charging.
Fuel-Efficient:Fuel efficiency is a measurement of how far a gallon of gas can take you. Car manufacturers have worked to make vehicles as fuel efficient as possible, with hybrids and EVs leading the charge.
GMC HUMMER EV:The world's first all-electric supertruck, the new GMC HUMMER EV comes in two iterations: the HUMMER EV pickup and HUMMER EV SUV. The GMC HUMMER EV pickup range tops out at over 350 miles, and the GMC HUMMER EV SUV range offers over 300 miles of driving.
How Do I Charge My GMC EV?
If you install an 800V DC Fast Charger, it'll be able to deliver up to 350 kilowatts of power to GMC HUMMER EV truck models and 300 kilowatts to HUMMER EV SUVs. At public EV fast charging stations, you could get up to 100 miles of range with just 10 minutes of charging.
